Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Petagon (the "Service"), operated by Petagon Technologies Inc. ("Petagon", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
Petagon provides a digital pet identity (Petagon ID and QR passport), vaccination tracking, a Petagon readiness score, a park-access indicator, and a directory of pet-friendly establishments.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login secure, and to be responsible for activity under your account.
3. Your content and accuracy
You are responsible for the information you enter (your dog's details, vaccination records, and directory submissions) and you represent that it is accurate and that you have the right to submit it. Information you enter is owner-reported and is not independently verified by Petagon unless it is expressly marked as verified. Submitting false information may result in suspension or removal.
4. Petagon score and access verdict (important)
The Petagon score and the FULL / LEASH-ONLY / DENIED access indicator are informational tools based largely on owner-reported data. They are not a guarantee of a dog's health, temperament, or safety, and are not a substitute for a venue's own judgment. Each venue, vet, or event remains solely responsible for its own access and safety decisions. Petagon is not liable for any access decision, denial, injury, damage, or incident arising from use of the score or verdict.
5. Directory listings
Establishment listings come from Petagon, community submissions, and third-party open data (including OpenStreetMap). Listings may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not endorsements. Pet policies change, so always confirm directly with the establishment before visiting.
6. Not professional or government advice
The Service does not provide veterinary advice; consult a licensed veterinarian for your pet's health. The Service is a private platform and is not a government registry; it does not replace mandatory dog registration or anti-rabies vaccination required under Republic Act No. 9482 or local ordinances.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: submitting false or fraudulent records; impersonating others; tampering with another user's data; scraping or bulk-extracting data; or interfering with the Service's operation or security.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its branding ("Petagon", "Petagon"), and its software are owned by Petagon Technologies Inc. You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant us a licence to host and display it to operate the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data is accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petagon Technologies Inc. and its officers and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from access decisions, reliance on the score/verdict or directory, or inaccurate user-submitted data.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Petagon against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, with venue in the courts of Davao City.
